Middle School One Act Play: "The Miracle Worker"

The cast of the Middle School One Act Play, "The Miracle Worker" which placed second overall in the District PSIA competition. Receiving All Star Cast recognition for their acting are Mary Mikule (Kate Kellar), and Sarah Jones (Helen Kellar). Mae Rose Hill (Annie Sullivan) won the award as Best Actress in the competition.
TKG Wrestling Success

At the Henderson Wrestling Tournament recently (left to right) Junior Luke Molidor won Gorman's first ever gold medal by going undefeated, 4-0, in the 171 weight class; Junior Justin Harris earned second place honors in the 145 lb weight class and sophomore Tyler Newman earned third place finish at 103 lbs.

Forty-three Gorman students (66%) in the Class of 2013 have been named Duke Scholars for scoring the 95th percentile in at least one area of the 2007 Stanford exam.

Nazareth Farm Mission Trip 2008

Seven Gorman seniors and three adult chaperones returned recently from a week in rural West Virginia. The mission trip, an annual event for Gorman seniors, is a shared experience with 45 students from throughout the United States at Nazareth Farm, a Catholic outreach center in the heart of Appalachia. The four cornerstones of Nazareth Farm are prayer, simplicity, service and community.
