• Italy Trip Meeting: A meeting for the tour trip to Italy next spring will be in the Holy Family Library Wednesday, October 8th at 6:00 p.m.  Participants should bring bus charter travel money to this meeting ($25.00 per person). This money covers the travel to and from the airport on the 6th and the 15th. You may make your checks out to Gorman.

• HS Letter Jackets: Herf-Jones will be on campus in the cafeteria this Wednesday, October 8, 2008 during athletic block to meet with interested students and parents or guardians.
  
• Library Reading Incentives: See attached minutes of the recent meeting.  The Goals of the program include:
  • to foster life-long love of reading
  • to inspire
  • to maintain a program which is incentive-driven as opposed to a mandatory one
  • to create an English Department recommended reading list which may be used to encourage reading of the classics through an increase of incentives for having read them
  • to continue to use in English classes for the promotion of reading
  • to improve communication for parents (perhaps by allowing access to student book circulation information)
