- TAPPS 5A Fine Arts Student of the Year: Congratulations to senior Caitlyn Dean who has been selected as the 2008 TAPPS 5A Female Fine Arts Student of the Year, the highest award for any female student from all 48 TAPPS 5A schools in the state of Texas. During her high school tenure, Caitlyn has been involved in VASE Art competitions, AP Studio Art (junior and senior year), Crusader Choir and Gorman Academic Team.
- Forty-Eighth Annual Commencement Exercises: To commemorate the Class of 2008 tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in the Haddad Gymnasium on the Gorman campus. Keynote speaker is retiring thirty-nine year teacher Larry McClellan.
